About me
I grew up in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland and have been surrounded by musicians all my life. Most of my family and friends are musicians and I have been passionate about music for as long as I can remember.
I studied at Strathclyde University and since graduation, have worked professionally as a guitar and bass player throughout the UK.
I have 16 years’ experience teaching full time in Primary and Secondary schools and I have a full PVG membership. I prepare pupils for SQA and graded exams as well as College and University auditions. During this time, I have led several guitar ensembles and organised many workshops, masterclasses, and performances for my pupils.
I am passionate about delivering the best lessons I can for my students to help them become the most skilled, musical, and confident players they can be.
